NOVEL SUPPLY CO. is a conscious apparel company that cares about this place we call home and wants to leave it in better shape than we found it for future generations to come. We make the most conscious choices when it comes to fabrics, inks, thread, packaging and shipping. Apparel is inspired by the West Coast lifestyle: weekend adventures to cozy cabins, exploring the local mountains, bike crawls, craft anything, seawall strolls, street art and hunting for the best cup of joe in the city.

In an effort to become zero waste, we have recently teamed up with the local non-profit, Abel Wear, to make rad kids apparel out of our fabric scraps from our adult line. Abel Wear trains women with barriers to employment how to sew so they can start their own businesses. We are super proud of this collaboration and love working with other brands that are on a mission to make this world a better place.

Kaya Dorey is the founder of NOVEL SUPPLY CO. and recent recipient of the 2017 Young Champion of the Earth prize by the United Nations Environment Programme and Covestro. Kaya applied with the idea of developing a take back program and making her clothing line closed-loop. In other words, taking responsibility for the products she was making and finding a solution for the textiles waste.
