Shadi and Antonio

We are Shadi and Antonio, the tired, but still keeping it together somehow parents and owners of Poplin & Co.

We started Poplin in 2018 because Antonio wanted a nice printed shirt and couldn’t find one anywhere at a reasonable price. So, Shadi designed and developed the product and the full logistical infrastructure so Antonio could have a nice shirt.

Now that’s love! ❤️ We’re only half joking about this. 😅

We were always inspired by color and print.

Shadi graduated from KPU with a bachelor’s in Fashion Design. She quickly found work as the main designer for Saxx Underwear, and later designer for brands like Helly Hansen and Stance Socks. Throughout all her experience she always wanted to start a brand where she could take all the creative risks she wanted and share her love of print with others.

Antonio was a game designer and 3D modeler. After a brief run in the industry, Antonio switched to marketing and has since worked on campaigns for the NBA, GAP, and Levis amongst others. He was always interested in fashion and loved to express himself through color and print.
